Before the city awakes.

A concept created as a response to the overstimulation and fast pace of city life.

In a time where cafés are crowded, people are constantly online, and productivity often comes before presence, this concept creates space for slowness, silence, and intention. A quiet morning experience where people can begin their day before the city wakes up — surrounded by fresh local products, craftsmanship, and calm atmosphere.

As part of the concept, I created a tactile zine designed to slow people down through imagery, texture, typography, styling, colour palette and composition. Not as marketing, but as a physical moment of pause. Inspired by the feeling of an old morning newspaper, the zine invites people to look, feel, and take their time.

Styling and art direction by me.
